- Retirement visa – If you are 50 or over and you meet the financial requirements, you can apply for a Non-O retirement visa, which you can renew every year. You need, either to deposit 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account or show evidence of 65,000 baht per month income, then you qualify for a retirement visa.

- Working visa – If you can find a Thai company that wishes to employ you, they can sponsor you to obtain a one-year work visa that is combined with a work permit, which is issued by the Ministry of Labour. - Dependent visa – If, for example, your husband/wife has a job in Thailand, you are able to stay with a dependent visa that runs alongside your partner’s work visa.
- Supporting a Thai child visa – If you have a child by a Thai partner and you were married but now divorced, you can apply for a visa to visit your child. Thai Immigration understands the need for a foreign father to spend time with their children and you should have no issues as long as you are named on the child’s birth certificate as a parent.
- Medical visa – If you are going to have medical treatment in a private Thai hospital, you can apply for a visa for the duration of the treatment and recovery.
